    Let KDEConnect through Windows 10 firewall.


    I have a phone running Google Go, which the Microsoft app doesn't connect to. I'm trying to use the KDE Connect app to serve the purpose, but I can't get it through the firewall. When I browse for the app, it doesn't show up; when I try to copy and paste the path, the path which is on the clipboard-- I verified that doesn't paste into the path box. I don't trust my typing enough to consider manually entering the path, so how do I enter the path? Or, possibly, is there a way to make the Microsoft app work with Google Go? Please note that this ancient computer does not have Bluetooth.

    Can Windows Firewall block outgoing connections yet? If not, it's one step above useless.

    Look into Online Armor for a free firewall.

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    yes i am sure i am having no issues with a router. this is at my work. and i only have issues with the windows 7 firewall.

    as for adding ports, i do it the same as what is listed in your picture.
