Windows 10: letter "i" continuously typed automatically

Hi,


Am using HP 15-f039 wm and facing an issue of key "i" continuously typed automatically and not able to stop it.


Contacted Microsft support and asked me to follow the below step.


Select the Start button, then select Settings > Update & Security > Windows Security > Virus & threat protection .

• On the Virus & threat protection screen, under Threat history, select Run a new advanced scan.
• On the Advanced scans screen, select Windows Defender Offline scan, and then select Scan now.

I have done this step but still the issue remains same.



Pls do help me out with a solution.

# To resolve this problem, make sure that BITS and the Automatic Updates service are started..

A simple solution but one that works in most circumstances!

1. Click Start, click Run, type services.msc, and then click OK.

2. In the list of services, right-click Automatic Updates, and then click Properties.

3. In the Startup type list, click Automatic, and then click Apply.

4. If Service status is set to Stopped, click Start, and then click OK.

5. Right-click Background Intelligent Transfer Service, and then click Properties.

6. In the Startup type list, click Manual, and then click Apply.

7. If Service status is set to Stopped, click Start, and then click OK.

upgraded to Windows 10. How do I type a letter

• Where are you trying to type a letter?
• Which application or program are you using to type the letter?

I suggest you to use WordPad or notepad for type the letter or any documents or else please do let us know what exactly you are trying to do? Which application are you looking for typing the letter?
