Windows 10: LG 32UK50T monitor not displaying video after powering up from sleep.

After Windows 10 Pro updated from 1706 to 1803 the problem with the video started. Display card is XFX R7 265 when the problem started and the then change to XFX RX580. Both had up to date drivers. When computer woke from sleep the monitor would wake with its beep, screen would lighten then flash in center of screen " No video signal". Two ways to get the video back, turn of the monitor and turn it back on or unplug the HDMI cable and plug it back in.I know it's a Windows problem cause when I run the same machine with Windows ver previous to 1803 everything works fine. Yes I have tried different cables HDMI and DisplayPort.

Display Power & sleep question

I recently got a new computer running win-10 and a new Dell monitor. Went through the setup steps one of which was display settings. I put 20 min in for power setting and never in sleep. I've used these setting for years in other machines but now the monitor
will not power down after 20 min! Tried everything I know... Any ideas?

I can't get a video to stream to my lg smart tv in full screen , it's playing full screen on the pc no problem

To assist you better, I like to know; how exactly you are trying to stream video from your PC to LG Smart TV?

As an initial step, I suggest you to try updating the display adapter on your system.

Follow the below steps:

• Click on the Start button, and type Device Manager on the search bar.
• Open Device Manager, expand Display Adapters.
• Find and double-click Display Adapters from the left panel to update.
• Right-click the device, and click Update.

As you are able to play the video full screen in your PC, then it might be an issue related to LG Smart TV. I suggest you to check for the LG Smart TV manual and check what all settings need to done to play video in full screen.

Second monitor doesn't always display?

Hi Erik,

A secondary display may not resume after sleep due to some issues with the graphics driver or issue with the monitor's video cable. We suggest that you download and update the graphics driver by going to the laptop's manufacturer's support site.

You may also try to replace the monitor's video cable and see if resolves the issue. As we checked the specifications of your monitor, it turns out that it has a DVI-D and VGA ports. You may check your monitor's manual or visit the manufacturer's support
site to get more information.
