Windows 10: LG monitor 32qn600-b shows black sreen

Bought a new monitor recently. At first everything was good but soon it just went black. I unplugged the power, put it back again and it worked. But after 10 minutes it happened again. After 3 time it stopped reacting to power on and off and just went black. I mean the monitor is on and I see it in the displays section but instead of data from my laptop it just shows black screen. I tried different hdmi cables, tried to connect it to my xbox but it's still the same. And my other monitors work fine with laptop and xbox.

I followed the steps that many know of here:
Fix Generic PnP Monitor problem on Windows 10 (Solved)

HOWEVER, in Step 2, it doesn't say to use "Have Disk"..
And in my case, that's what I had to click in order for the proper .inf to be detected.
I then was able to choose between installing the LG DisplayPort or the LG HDMI.

Not sure why I have to pick one or the other.
It was also confusing that the driver details show a date of 2015, but the LG site shows a download update 2021, which contains the 3 files seen in my previous screenshot all dated 2017. Not sure why that is ?

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

At the top left of the dialog in your screenshot that shows the PNP driver, untick 'Show Compatible Drivers', you should then get a list of drivers, at least one of those will have the correct resolution, it does not need to be an LG driver.

Another option would be to check the LG website, to see if they provide specific drivers for that monitor.
