    I have a Lenovo Yoga laptop connected to a J5 Create docking station USB-C. I have a dual monitor set up 1 Samsung 34" Widescreen monitor Display-port and a LG 34" widescreen monitor HDMI. My docking station only has 1 display-port. When my laptop goes into sleep mode, the Samsung turns off completely black screen, but the LG monitor semi turns off and has a slight glow on the screen which is obviously more visible when its dark in the room. I have changed every setting on Windows 11 Display and on the monitor itself. Is this something that is normal with all LG monitors? I have al

    LG Flatron L1915S Monitor Sleep Mode

    Hi

    I have an LG Flatron L1915S screen with my WIN 10 PC. Recently on start up, the sceen very briefly shows a glimpse of the BIOS screen then the Windows boot scree before settling in some kind of "sleep" mode. If I turn the screen off/on I get a very brief glimpse of the user logon screen. I have since changed the PC poer settings to Sleep: never and Power off: never but still this problem persists.

    Is this something to do with WIN 10 going into Tablet Mode or does anybody else hav experience of this/ideas on how to prevent it. Screen is old but good quality and functions well otherwise.

    • Have you made any updates to your computer before experiencing this issue?
    • What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

    LG Monitor with glow when in sleep mode.

    All desktop windows are move/push-over to Main display after waking-up from sleep mode

    I'm happy to find these as work-around, very helpful at least to my systems scenario.

    All my desktop windows retained the exact location in both built-in and external monitor, before and after Sleep mode.

    Step 1. Press the below keys before the computer turn to sleep mode

    (typically, this is prior to leaving my computer for a break)

    • Windows logo key + M


    Step 2. Press the below keys after signing back or activating from sleep mode

    • Windows logo key + Shift + M
