Windows 10: LG sound bar not avail as audio device

My LG Soundbar connects with windows 10 no problem is under BT devices in device manager though only. It should show up under audio devices but it does not. Windows is registering what type of device it is at all. Can’t assign it to com port nothing is just a dead end connection unable to do anything with but enable or disable or update the driver? Oh and I know this is already up and all of the solutions listed don’t do a thing problem is windows not putting proper label to device assigning it as audio device nothing to do with any troubleshooting means as all that does is tell me the sound b

to do an automated fix on this matter. To run the troubleshooter, follow these steps:

Playing Audio:

  On the search bar, type

  Click on

  to run the troubleshooter
  

Hardware and Devices:

  On the search bar, type
  Troubleshooting.

Spatial sound is not available on this device!

Hello,

This could be related to not having the updated driver for your sound card device. I recommend that you perform the steps provided below:

1. Open Start, enter Device Manager, and select it from the list of results.
2. Under Sound, video and game controllers, select your sound card, open it, select the Driver tab.
3. Select Update Driver. If Windows doesn't find a new driver, look for one on the device manufacturer's website and follow their instructions.

If that didn't work, try this:

1. Uninstall your audio driver: open Device Manager, right-click (or press and hold) the audio driver, and select Uninstall.
2. Restart your device and Windows will attempt to reinstall the driver.

And if that didn't work, try using the generic audio driver that comes with Windows. Here's how:

1. Open Device Manager, right-click (or press and hold) your audio driver > Update driver software... > Browse
   my computer for driver software > Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer.
2. Select High Definition Audio Device.
3. Select Next.
4. Follow the instructions to install it.

We need to investigate further so that we can identify the cause of the issue. We suggest running the Troubleshooter and see if it helps. Follow the steps below:

• Type and select Troubleshooting on the Search bar/Cortana.
• Click Hardware and Sound.
• Select Playing Audio under Sound.
• Follow the steps that will be provided.

If the steps does not work. We suggest downloading a fresh copy of the audio driver from Realtek and see if it helps.
