Windows 10: Library Files Missing after update

Hi. Im Dr safeer kapdi

I updated my laptop yesterday. Since then my Library dataMusic videos downloads documents is all missing.

I always change the directory of all my library folders from C: Users to D: Library when i install a new pc.


So now in D drive i can only see a folder named library which is empty.

None of my files r there. Folder size is also not that huge.


BUT, the drive size signifies that all my files r still in that drive. Theyre just not visible.

There is no hidden folder available. Where can my files be hidden?

Please help me restore.

I used easeus data recovery software and it detected all my files and folders. But i just need to know how to recover them.

Map a network drive folder to my video library

To Include folders using Manage Library Tools, we suggest that you perform the steps below:

• In File Explorer, select or open a library (ex: Videos) you want to include a folder or drive to.
• Click on the Library Tools Manage tab, and click on the Manage library button in the ribbon.
• Click on the Add button
• Browse to and select a folder or drive that you want to include in this library, and click on the Include folder button.
• When finished, click/tap on OK.
