Windows 10: License related query while upgrading from win10 to win11.

Dear Team, Here I have a query about win11. In my HP laptop, Win11 upgrade available. I want to know that I have license win10 in my laptop for home & student use. please confirm that if I upgrade window11 from window10. the licensed will be continued or need to buy one more license for home & student use. Please confirm.

I am going to buy a new PC to upgrade to win11,(upgrade due anyway) but i am not happy I thought win10 was the last, well I am going to move away and dual linux and run with that. Pretty much had enough with windows i am moving on.

A query regarding Win7 upgrade to Win10

Thanks to reading the various messages on this excellent forum I've cleared up some initial queries. I'm one of those folk who availed of the free upgrade to Win10 Pro from Win7 Pro. Reassuredly I've read on here that doing a clean install of Win10 from a downloaded ISO (I'll be making a Win10 bootable USB) on the same machine won't be a problem because of the digital license which contains a digital footprint of my hardware (MB I presume). Hence no product key will be required.

But I still have these questions

1. Is the original Win7 Pro installation (I upgraded from) product key now still usable for an install on another device?

2. If I sell my computer I assume the digital license travels with the computer since its' not tied to the owner or their microsoft account?
