Windows 10: License Windows 10 IoT LTSB 2016

Hello,I would like to ask about the matter related to the license. I have a license to Windows 10 IoT LTSB 2016, however there is a need to upgrade system to Windows 10 IoT LTSC 2019. Will the license be still valid, like in upgrade Win10-> Win11 ?

Windows 10 IOT LTSB license options?

Can you please define the difference between these two software licenses? We need to understand if there will be any functional difference between the two options....or if the difference is only due to the sales channel which these licenses are purchased;

Windows 10 IOT 2016 Upgrade 2019

Hi all,

So i have a question which might show i'm not too familiar with the terms yet . so do pardon me.

I have Windows 10 IOT 2016 LTSB and want to upgrade from 1607 to 1809 is it possible ?

Does the version tag to the release edition or can they be used in any way?

Example : Windows 10 IOT 2016 LTSB - Version 1607,1703,1709

Windows 10 IOT 2019 LTSC - Version 1803,1809,1903

 

How to upgrade Windows 10 ioT Ent 2015 (LTSB) to the 2016 version while retaining the exisitng settings, files, and applications?

We have some computers running Windows 10 ioT Ent 2015 (LTSB).

Is there a step-by-step guide on Microsoft website how to properly upgrade (not fresh re-install) this operating system to the 2016 version while retaining the settings, files, and applications?
