Windows 10: LifeCam dashboard

Hi,I brought a LifeCam Cinema HD webcam excited to use the LifeCam Dashboard that is stated to be "built into the camera". When I go to the link via Microsoft to download the software it says "Additional software, firmware, or drivers are no longer available because Windows 10/11 has all the necessary software to support Microsoft LifeCam cameras." I thought I may need to download the Microsoft Accessory Centre but this did not help. The camera app on my start bar also does not give me the option to use the dashboard. There does not seem to be anywhere on my computer that gives me this opt

I just purchased Lifecam HD-3000 and the box has a blue sticker indicating it's Windows 10 compatible. The drivers installed when I connected the device. The only way I can access it is by clicking on the Camera icon located in Start menu. There is no
desktop icon. Also, there is no Lifecam Dashboard, so no access to microphone settings etc. Without the dashboard it's pretty worthless. What's up with that?

I can use separate software like Open Broadcaster Software to adjust my LifeCam Studio properties, but I never had to do that before--and it's not the normal interface for adjusting it because it isn't the actual Dashboard, but it works.

So how do I access the LifeCam Studio Dashboard?

Well, I can bring up the lifecam studio software, and adjust the camera there, but the lifecam dashboard never comes up when I'm using the lifecam with other programs. But this is at least a step in the right direction.

I'm going to try installing the one for 8 (after uninstalling this one) and restarting to see whether I can get the dashboard back again.
