Windows 10: Limited to 50 folders on photos app?

Hello,I can't add any more than 50.folders to photos new not legacy.On asking copilot and googling it says folders are unlimited.....Is there anywhere I can check if it's a settings thing?Thanks ever so

Thank you for that information, if you create a parent folder on that SD card, then drag all the other folders into that folder, then add the parent folder to the sources list in the Photos app, does it then see all photos and recreate the library?

 

Quick access 50 count limit

There seems to be a limit of 50 folders that can be displayed in Quick access. If you pin more than 50 they do not display, but on unpinning a different folder the 51'st shows up as the last one (50th) on the list.

How can more than 50 folders be displayed?

I am setting up a new pc and adding my photo folders to the Photos app. All going fine - if laborious - but now, when I select the next folder to add, nothing happens and I suspect that it is because I now have 50 folders added.

With many people having 1000's of photos, probably across multiple folders, thaty can't be right surely?

Can anyone shed light on this please?
