Windows 10: Line in not detected on my laptop using Windows 11

Hello community, I'm trying to digitize my old cassettes using Audacity. I've a RCA - jack plug connecting from my Denon cassette player to my Asus laptop, so its plugged into the mic socket. Unfortunately Audacity is not picking up a line in. My laptop is not picking it up either. I've been into the sound settings and it doesn't show the connection.I've tried recording using the settings available and it is a horrible hissing playing with the music barely listenable.Any help resolving this issue and allowing me to save my old tapes is much appreciated..

Laptop display does not detect itself

In regards to your concern, since the second screen can't detect the display settings of your other laptop, we suggest that you perform the steps below and see if it helps:

• Go to Settings.
• Click on System.
• Under System, choose Display.
• Under Multiple displays, click on Duplicate these displays and apply.
