Windows 10: Line6 UX2 and Windows 10

Discus and support Line6 UX2 and Windows 10 in Windows 10 Ask Insider to solve the problem; Hey, I have a xlr mic going through ux2 and everytime i turn on my pc (from shutdown) i get no input signal..     Hey,

    I have a xlr mic going through ux2 and everytime i turn on my pc (from shutdown) i get no input signal.. I have to go to line 6 input settings and toggle mic 2 then back to mic 1 and it starts picking up signal again.. Any idea what's wrong?

    Sleep mode works fine..

    Audio Drivers

    It is a Line6 UX2 designed for processing guitar tones. I haven't encountered anything similar to this using XP or 8/8.1

    Line 6 POD Studio UX2 - Current Drivers Do Not Work With Win 10


    This isn't a request for help just a heads-up.

    The Line 6 POD Studio UX2 audio interface does not work with Windows 10.

    The latest available version of the driver is 4.2.7.1 and it hails from 2013.

    Despite being listed for Windows 10 in the Line 6 download section it does not allow the device to function. Neither do previous versions of the driver.

    The UX2 will appear to install correctly and appears to be fine in Device Manager and the Control Panel Sound & Line 6 applets. However when you try and use it is non-functional. No one has managed to get the UX2 to work in Windows 10.

    So, if you need to use the UX2, don't install Windows 10 until Line 6 release a confirmed working driver.

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
