Windows 10: Lingering Quick Assist Store App vs Desktop App problems

The behavior as outlined in the Install Quick Assist support article - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/install-quick-assist-c17479b7-a49d-4d12-938c-dbfb97c88bca is not what I experience.When I invoke the keyboard shortcut, I do not get the Already Installed it? Open it now option in the app window as expected -- only a button to open MS store nothing else except a Get Help here link which is the link above.Obviously, I can create a new pin or search and find the correct app, I just wanted to point out the issue with the FAQ info.Hopefully this dual version problem will be fi

Win-10 Pro Quick Assist app shortcut

Thanks for everyone's suggestions. Turns out that Quick Assist is already a shortcut in the Open Shell menu, but I was looking in the Apps menu as I knew that Quick Assist was a Win-10 pre-installed app and thus only looked in the Apps menu. Problem solved. Thanks.

 

Apple Claims Steam Link App Violates App Store Guidelines

So yeah, there's a lot of reasons why Steam Link would get rejected.

App submissions and approvals is a thing between developer and Apple. Valve intentionally let this information leak probably because Apple's restrictive guidlines will never allow Steam Link to be on the store. Valve is hoping the Steam user base makes a lot of noise so Apple grants Valve and exemption. I doubt it will work. Apple loves control and Steam Link is a portal into the Linux/Windows ecosystem. Even if Steam Link were exclusive to Mac OS, Apple would likely demand Valve use Mac OS's remote desktop features rather than Steam Link.

I'd be shocked if Apple allows it.

 

Win-10 Pro Quick Assist app shortcut

I'm currently running a system with Win-10 Pro version 20H1, along with Open Shell 4.4.131 UI shell running normally. While this OS installation already has Windows Quick Assist already installed as I have confirmed, I was wondering if there was anyway to create a shortcut to Quick Assist app since it doesn't appear on the Open Shell Apps menu which I've never touched or modified and rarely use. Would be useful to have a shortcut to put into Open Shell or the IE Quick Launch bar at the bottom of the Windows desktop. Thanks for any suggestions.
