Windows 10: Link to windows/your phone companion message error

Hi has anyone else experienced this issue, I'm receiving 99% of my messages without issues, but there are some contacts my daughter being one..I get an error message that says: "This thread has messages that you can only view from your phone" Clicking on the "Learn More" just goes to the default page. Can someone help?

To uninstall the phone companion app please follow the steps below:

• 
  Type phone companion in the
  search box.
  
• 
  Right click on
  phone companion and click on uninstall.
  

Once it is uninstalled, you can reinstall it from windows store.

Issue in install phone companion app on windows 10

I request you to follow below steps to Run built in Windows Store Apps troubleshooter:

  Press Windows Key then type ‘troubleshoot’ and hit Enter
  
• 
  Select “View all”
  on the left panel and run “Windows Store Apps” troubleshooter from the list
  
• 
  Click on “Advanced” and then click on “Apply repair automatically”. Also ensure to select
  Run as administrator.
  
• 
  Click “Next” and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the troubleshooting process.
  

And also I suggest you to install the latest windows 10 updates, please follow the steps to install all the windows updates.

If you want to check for the update now, select the Start button,
then select Settings
>Update & security
> Windows Update>
Check for updates.
