Windows 10: Linking a microsoft account to my win10 PC is asking an applocation

Hi,


I recently disconnected my microsoft account from my PC to go for a local account, and now if i go to settings->account and i click on ' Connect with a microsoft account' , a window appears and tells me it needs an app to do that. I click 'Yes', it opens Microsoft Store, then nothing happens...


Trying to connect via microsoft Store doesn't work as well.


Any help ?

Cannot link/add my Microsoft Account to Local Account


Hello Ken,

Im using Win10 Build 1607 with all latest update.

I also run all related troubleshooters:

• Windows Update
• Store Apps (says i have to login in my microsoft account but thats the problem, i can't)
• Microsoft Accounts

No Problem found. Also the suggestions from Microsoft didnt helped.

 

How to check linked license in Microsoft account

Hello all

A while ago I bought a new pc.

During the installation it asked me to register my Win10 with my Microsoft account.

It then showed a listed of linked licenses, but now I can't find it anywhere.

So my question is: where on the Microsoft website can I see which Office or Windows cd-keys are linked to my Microsoft account?

• Have you tried deleting your Microsoft account directly from the old laptop?
• How did you go about removing the account from the old laptop?
