Windows 10: Links 2003

Hi there,I have bought a new laptop and tried tp play Links2003....The only thing I got was a almost black screen with a stripe of text.The videocard,txt I already added the new videocard name etc...What could be the problem? My old laptop W 10 was no problem to play...Thanks for your answerKind regardsWim van DrentNetherlands

• Is this the first time you are trying to install the Link 2003?
• What issue are you facing regarding the Firefox?
• From where have you downloaded the applications in Windows?

Did you originally install it in Compatbility Mode for XP? If not then you might give that a try as it may adjust it for the card. There are also some graphics settings in Compatibility Mode to try:

Many thanks for taking an interest by replying.
Relevant error messages are that upon trying to run the programme a pop-up says 'Insert disk 2003#CD1 into your CD Rom drive.' I do so and get second message which says 'Links 2003 cannot verify your disk.'
I guess you're right to point out that this is a fourteen year old programme and having already tried the 'compatibility suggestions you made without any success I must reluctantly accept it can go no further except a short trip to the scrap can!!
