Windows 10: Links not working whatsoever

Basically, after a windows restart, I'm not able to interact with any links. For example, my teacher posts a link for us in zoom, when I click on it, nothing happens. Another example, discord. If a link is posted I have to manually copy and paste it to my browser. And another example on top of this, I was doing osu multiplayer and a song that I didn't have came up, normally it links you to the download on a search engine, but I couldn't do anything since you know, I can't interact with links. Is anyone else having this problem??

Note: I've searched up the problem myself, it only deals with browser issues, not applications. I can say that during a please wait my computer died during startup but after starting up again, it went through the same process without issue so.. I'm not sure what to do and its preventing me from doing a lot of things I can normally do with ease on my computer, please help!

The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.

All Gmail links fail

Thanks to bro67...Interestingly enough the Gmail link to this forum reply actually worked, as did your link to "How to Fix....." I tried steps 1 and 2 without success. Step 3 gave me the following screen, which didn't look like the article described. At any rate, the probem is unchanged...screenshot follows.

 

"All apps" Button not working - Where are links stored?


At some point my "All apps" button has stopped working. Clicking on it causes the apps list to flash very very briefly then dumps me back to home screen. Everything else seems to work OK.
Anyone know where the links in that list of apps is stored? I'm thinking one of the links is broken causing the whole list to shut down, and if I remove links from the list one by one I can find it. That's the only thing I can think to try.
Unfortunately no restore points exist and Repair tools like Startup Repair Etc. does not help.
Any other Ideas / Suggestions would also be greatly appreciated.
