Windows 10: Linksys AE 1200/2500 adapter not compataible

I am currently ruining windows 10 version 1607. When attempting to upgrade to windows 10 version 14393 I got the following :
linksys AE1200/2500 802.11 wireless Lan Dongle Devise is incompatible with this version of windows and must be removed before continuing installation

Feature update to Windows 10, version 1607

I got a message: Could not update due to Linksys AE 1200/2500 Wireless device incompatible. This device has to remove then continue... something like this...

What should I do?

Windows 10 Anniversary Update Fail

I have tried to upgrade to the new anniversary edition, but get a message that says my LinkSys AE 1200/2500 802.11 wireless lan dongle is not compatible with this version of Windows.Since
the upgrade failed, my computer is now running very slow and many programs no longer respond. Any help would be appreciated.

It appears there are no Linksys drivers for it and the latest Win10 also has no drivers, usually provided by the hardware maker/vendor:

According to the dates of the downloadable files it is rather old in the computer field. Can you plug the computer into your Router/Modem using an Ethernet cable?

Problem is THIS DEVICE IS NOT there. While I did have this wireless there the very first time I tried to install.
I then removed it, removed all references in hidden files, registry.... Cleared all caches, ect ect ect

It is almost certain there is a file somewhere that microsoft writes to indicating incompatible devices,
No where on the internet and certainly NOT on the Micro$oft web site, heaven forbid they ever answer a question with a correct solution.
