    Of the above AV's that are working with Win10, is there noticeable effect on the system ?

    I am a Kaspersky guy and the new '16 Kaspersky has a noticeable effect on my system ( i3, 4gb ram). Pages slow to load, especially those with images like the news sites. Streaming vids are also slow. Removed Kaspersky and back to normal.

    Panda Antivirus Free Edition works great.

    There was a message posted by Bitdefender that said that their free AV will not be made compatible with Windows 10 so I dumped it and switched to Panda. So far, I love it.

    Take Bitdefender Free off the list. It seemed to work at first, but then started acting strangely. Bitdefender has now said it will not be made compatible with Win 10 and that using it could result in false positives or even false negatives along with other issues. They have abandoned the product.

    All of their paid products like Antivirus Plus and the Total Security packages are compatible now.

    Yup, BD free kills start menu and universal apps on taskbar - best to avoid.

    BTW, not sure how many are testing Windows 10 in different enterprise environments.
    McAfee VSE 8.8 is reported as not compatible, however, renaming SetupVSE works - for testing only - although seems to work fine with patch 5.
    Patch 6 for Win10 compatibility is only reported to be released at the end of Aug.

    im using avast with windows 10 never had any problems .its trying too p[lay some of my games im having problems with ghrrrr . regards john have a great day.

    I have used bitdefender free on both my 64 bit pc and my 32 bit pc without any problems ever since windows 10 first began. I am very pleased with it. Jerry *Smile

    I am running Sophos. It is free. Works fine on Win10, using it on my dev for school laptop running Win10 Enterprise Eval at the moment. Small footprint and it has caught a couple of things. I am mostly running Visual Studio, Adobe CC and Eclipse.
