Windows 10: Listen to device stops working and require toggling

I've been having an issue for now a couple years, on multiple Windows 10 machines. I have devices on both plugged in to Line-In that I want to always listen to on one this is a Chromecast audio. I've seen the issue posted before, however not a clear solution. If I select "Listen to this device" the audio will come through normally, however at some indeterminate time in the future it will stop playing through the selected output device. This problem is solved by toggling the still checked "Listen to this device" box, clicking ok to deselect and re-select it. I've tried the same on multiple inputs Line in, Mic in, and Virtual Audio Cable and all exhibit the same symptoms.


Hopefully someone can help, as this is really frustrating.

Toggle keys stopped working after Windows 10 update

This issue may arise when the toggle option is turned off in the settings page.

I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if that helps to resolve the issue.

• Access Settings from Start Menu.
• From Settings, click
  Ease of Access.
• Select Keyboard from the options.
• Cast a glance at the right pane of Keyboard. you can see
  Toggle Keys option with a slider.
• Switch the slider to On mode and activate the feature.

Listening audiobooks on Lumia 800 with WinPhone 7

I use to hear audiobooks on my Lumia 800 with WinPhone 7 so I’d like to find an app that:

• Allows to continue listening from the point it was previously stopped.
• Allows to reposition the listening back and forth in the piece.
• Shows the listening
  point in a size that does not require a
  magnifying glass to be seen.

Kindly suggest me some??

"Listen to this device" not working after Windows 10 Update

The suggested fix doesn't address the problem. Stopping audiosrv turns off audio, and starting the service turns it on again. "Listen to this device" worked on Windows 7, ,does not work on Windows 10.
