Windows 10: Listen to this Device option no longer working.

I've been using the "Listen to this Device" function to join audio between devices for a few years now, never had any problems with it, but since last Friday, September 15 2023, this option no longer works, with any microphone in fact.I have tried changing the output device, disabling and enabling the listen and nothing works.My drivers are all up to date and i am using the latest version of windows 11 22H2I have previously tried the net stop audiosrv, net start audiosrv but it still doesn't work.Has anyone else had this problem so far and did you manage to fix it? Please i need some help.

No audio with "listen to this device" until reboot with option uncheck

I have my PS4 and Xbox One connected to my second screen with HDMI and from my screen I have 3,5 audio cable from screen audio output to motherboards soundcards line-in and in windows I listen to line-in device.

It works when i activate option "listen to this device" in control panel until I restart computer.

If I have option "listen to this device" checked when I restart it won't work until I uncheck that option and restart again or restart audio services.

I have two soundcards one on motherboard (Realtek) and Creative Soundblaster Z and sound output seems to work because I can listen to music and watch videos but I can't hear anything from line-in.

I have installed new drivers and clean install on windows 10

 

USB audio interface Line In Properties - Listen to This Device stopped working after 21H1 update

I followed your instructions step-by-step twice and it's a no go. My USB interface works fine and I can listen through its headphone jack, but still won't work through the "Listen to this device" option. This is the first time I've not been able to get this to work. I just now tried using a 2nd USB interface in place of my Novation Audiohub 2x4 and it won't play either through the "Listen to this device" option. So it's not my interfaces, but some odd pass through glitch?? I'm not new to computers and can usually figure these oddities out, but I'm stumped.

Step 1: Run the Network Adapter troubleshooter.

  Change the view by option on the top right to
  Large icons.

  Click on troubleshooting and click on the
  view all option on the left panel.
  
• 
  Run the Network Adapter troubleshooter.
  

Step 2: You may follow the steps and check if it helps in resolving the issue, as the device might be hidden.

    Click on Device Manager.
    
  • 
    Click on View.
    
  • 
    Click on Show
    Hidden Devices.
    
  • 
    Search for the Bluetooth device.
