Windows 10: Listing domain accounts on the lock screen

This is on a brand-new install of Windows 10 pro.


I have an O365 Business Standard tenant which comes with Azure AD. So all of my "users" myself, wife, 2 kids have domain accounts. When I set up Windows, I provided these to log in and added their Microsoft accounts later.


The issue is that the accounts don't show up in a list in the lower-left corner of the screen, so when my 8 or 5 year old wants to play Minecraft, they have to click "Other User," then "Sign-in options," then select "PIN," then enter their e-mail address and PIN.


I would like to return to how the login experience used to be: the list of permitted users appears in the lower-left corner, users click on their icon, and then they enter their PIN.


Solutions I have already tried:

• Local users and groups e.g. https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/how-do-i-make-windows-10-always-display-all-user/a1d880a2-0244-4856-8c86-a5d8eeb24646. This and related solutions are irrelevant because these are not local accounts.
• UserSwitch parameter in the registry at HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Authentication\LogonUI\UserSwitch. This is set to 1, and I have a task set to re-set it every time the machine starts, I verified it's set to 1 after I log in. It's still not showing the user list.

Domain Account Locked Daily


Hello,
I have similar problem. My domain account locks from time to time. I just upgraded from W8.1 to W10.
I tried many steps to solve this but none is working.
I found out some interesting things. Using a tool "Account Lockout Status" I found that Last Bad Pwd value is changed when I enter credentials after computer automatic or manaul screen lock out.
I can work normally if I do not get a message about "Windows needs your current credentials":



If I get this message and do nothing - account very quickly locks out.
If I do quick screen lock and unlock it will go ok for some time.
Very strange. I replicate the problem of Last Bad Pwd value using another PC with W10. Some other users in domain are ok some same as mine.
Something wrong with specific users and Windows 10 combination..

Forum users with Hotmail/Outlook/Exchange account

The two-step verification emails show up in my inbox but I added a rule to mark the domain name safe a long time ago (verified that "techpowerup.com" is still in the safe sender list).
