    Upgraded from windows 7 to windows 10 my lite-on dvd-rw drives is not recognize in windows 10 upgrade.

    No yellow exclamation point on CD/DVD in Device Manager. I have a Dell Inspiron 15 with USB 2.0 In divice an drivers I see DVD RW Drive (D) but not USB 2.0

    Do you mean SOHW-1653S?

    This is 11 year old hardware which uses an IDE (ATAPI) controller.

    Why are you requesting a driver? What is going wrong with this drive?

    If it does not work using the bundled Windows 10 drivers, you may be out of luck as the firmware could be incompatible with modern versions of Windows.

    Does it power up when connected? (motor spin briefly, activity LED flash)

    Have you used it successfully on an older computer?

    Is yours the SOHW-1653SX external drive? This is an 11 year old product, but a driver should only be required for Windows 98 - everything higher uses the Windows built-in USB and mass-storage drivers.

    I have a similar case with a drive from a computer I junked, seems to work fine with WinXP and newer systems. I probably would have issues with WinVista, Win2000 and older. And forget DOS, maybe no drivers for it.
