Live Kernel Event 141

Hi Bao,

Many users has sadly aswell encountered this problem. Solving this will take some time, I highly suggest you to look through these threads steadily while making some stress tests and all of the other stuff that is needed.

Live Kernel Event 141 started popping up frequently 3 days ago. Audio freezes for a second, creen goes black and nonresponsive for about 8 seconds, and all apps currently open on my pc restart.

I did all the steps mentioned above and still experience issues stated in the title of my post. There are websites that recommend doing a graphics driver reinstall for the kernal live event 141 issues. Should I do that instead?

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.



The error seems to be triggered by the graphics drivers, however the Live Kernal events don’t give much clue about what is causing these types of errors. As you have tried different versions of the display drivers, I would request to upload the dump
files (Minidump) so that we can analyze the crash report before suggesting any troubleshooting steps.
