Windows 10: Live Kernel Event 117, 141. BSoD 116. At wits end

I am lost. Purchased a prebuilt pc from Lenovo about 4 years ago The Legion C730-19ICO Desktop. Pc came with some solid specs at suitable price, ever since I've received it though, the pc has faced a myriad of issues, starting with minor things like momentary freezes to more drastic issues like the computer freezing into a complete restart completely unprompted without any warning. Their are times where these issues subside for months almost fixing itself entirely only for it return with no drastic changes made to the computer to prompt it I have been dealing with this problem for years and

Many users has sadly aswell encountered this problem. Solving this will take some time, I highly suggest you to look through these threads steadily while making some stress tests and all of the other stuff that is needed.

Live kernel event 117 and 141

Hi there,

I am a bit desperate. I am experiencing kernel event 117 and 141 since like 2 years now.

With my previous buil, ryzen feat 2070 rtx i had this issue already, send back to manufacturer many times, they never found anything, i mean never succeed getting rid of it.

Was like big freezes or black screens while gaming and sometimes while just being on the computer.

So I abandonned this build.

I just bought 1 week ago a laptop: a Razer blade 15. But THEN it happens that i haev the SAME live kernel events in the security and maintenance tab.

All my drivers are up to date. I did a new installation of nvidia drivers.

is there a possibility that my devices that i plug to my computer are the culprits?

my keyboard and my headset are the two devices my previous computer and my new one have in common

keyboard is old logitech, headset is a corsair void pro bluetooth.

i searched the internet it was about GPU driver crashing, but i tried DDU and it didn't help. however by disabling XMP the errors stop. should I RMA my RAM?



specs are:

ryzen 5 2600

rx5700

adata 2x8 GB XMP 3000, stock at 2666

be quiet u9 500w

fresh windows install at march 27 and is up to date

system is about 6 months old



*edit: i was installing rgb strip in my case the other day and accidentally touched one of the screw on the back of gpu. i felt a shock. could it burn my gpu?
