Windows 10: Live Kernel Event 141 causing a 2-5 second black screen when video files selected either on...

I have spent hours/days trying to identify and fix this problem that re-occurs when opening a video file. The error is quiescent until a video file is selected or video appears within a web page. The video file, irrespective of type, can be located either locally on my PC or online on any web site Facebook, New York Times, it matters not and is independent of any web browser used Chrome, Edge, etc.. I have spent hours on the phone with Microsoft, Dell and Nvidia trying to identify the problem, and of course each point the finger at the other. To Dell's credit, they actually took possessi

Hi Bao,

Many users has sadly aswell encountered this problem. Solving this will take some time, I highly suggest you to look through these threads steadily while making some stress tests and all of the other stuff that is needed.

Live kernel event 117 and 141

Hi there,

I am a bit desperate. I am experiencing kernel event 117 and 141 since like 2 years now.

With my previous buil, ryzen feat 2070 rtx i had this issue already, send back to manufacturer many times, they never found anything, i mean never succeed getting rid of it.

Was like big freezes or black screens while gaming and sometimes while just being on the computer.

So I abandonned this build.

I just bought 1 week ago a laptop: a Razer blade 15. But THEN it happens that i haev the SAME live kernel events in the security and maintenance tab.

All my drivers are up to date. I did a new installation of nvidia drivers.

is there a possibility that my devices that i plug to my computer are the culprits?

my keyboard and my headset are the two devices my previous computer and my new one have in common

keyboard is old logitech, headset is a corsair void pro bluetooth.

Live Kernel Event Error 141

Same issue too

3x full system rebuilds same issue.

Got all my hardware tested at PB Tech they say nothing wrong with it ?

This event always accors when Playing COD MW 2019 no other time.

NOTE not OC and on a $1500 extream coustom water cooling system.
