    Live Kernel Event 144 and computer crash.


    Today my laptop freezed 3 times in the span of 2 hours when I was just internet browsing, so I had to turn it off manually each time. In reliability monitor it says that LiveKernelEvent happened with 144 code.     Live Kernel Event 144 with Additional Critical Events

    Ok I just ran the chipset installer.

    I rebooted OK, but then to test I plugged in my controller and rebooted, and I got Kernel Event 144 again and my mouse and keyboard didn't work. Could the controller be junk and be causing these problems?

    Ok I did a clean install, and it seems to have worked well, but I just now booted my PC to find no USB attachments are working (Mouse, Keyboard, Razer Controller). Before I did the clean install only the controller did this.

    I unplugged the mouse and keyboard and then they worked so I could log on, and I have a Live Kernel Event 144 again.

    I can't find any minidumps.

    Computer keeps crashing with error code "Live Kernel Event 144".

    Hi Jose! Thanks for taking the time to answer me.

    I have downloaded and installed the MSI chipset drivers. I then decided to go and try to download a game on steam (as that often causes a critical error for some reasons). The computer worked for around 15 minutes and then crashed with the same LiveKernelEvent
    144 error code.
