Windows 10: LiveMail

Is it possible to recover a long, unsent, email which disappeared following a general power outage?

Forgive my choice of Windows topic below. Didn't see a good choice.

Windows Livemail

Until this week I have used Windows Livemail. Microsoft replaced it with the new mail software and now I can't find my Livemail contacts and folders - can I get them back? I have asked Microsoft ref: 1393210888 and Albert has suggested I ask the community.

 

Which is the best email client to replace Livemail wsith? ie one that is going to import and sync with no major hassles?

I'm fed up with Livemail crashing and not retrieving my emails so I need to replace Livemail with something with as much functionality and compatability with Microsoft (and windows 10) as possible. Any suggestions anyone?? Thanks in advance.

 

Change modem settings in Livemail

Hi Greg, Many thanks for your extremely speedy reply! Having turned computer off and on again, Livemail reappeared, functioning normally, without me having to touch the modem/connection settings, although I found them for the new modem and got them ready
to fill in the boxes. I had been told a couple of years ago that Livemail is no longer supported by Microsoft/Windows 10 but I really like it and will keep plugging on with it until it stops. I'll certainly have a look at Windows 10 Mail and when I feel
strong enough (I am pretty old), will do as you suggest. The reason I like Livemail is having two email addresses in one place and I see you say, if I understood you correctly, Windows 10 may or may not be able to do that. I also like the calendar function.
