Windows 10: Loader change can't be done

My Windows PC is dual-boot with Linux. I want to clone the HDD to a newly installed SSD for better system performance. Due to the fact that the Linux partition can't be cloned over due to its fixed size from Windows, I need to clone the Windows partitions only. To let the Windows on SSD boot properly, I need to change the loader. I learn two ways of making a such change. One is to run the command "bcdedit /enum firmware" with admin login and the other is to make changes with UEFI on Windows. But I get "the boot configuration data store could not be opened" for the command and only the "turn

I don´t have a solution for this particular problem, but I might know a way to fix this.

• Uninstall Nokia Map Loader
• Reboot
• Install Nokia Maps Loader

How do I remove the Linux Boot Loader?

You don't actually uninstall a boot loader but replace it with another.

You cannot get Ubuntu to start on a Windows' boot loader, it needs to be GRUB (or an open source equivalent).

Any ways, to get the Windows' boot loader back up, you need to insert your WIN7 installer disk and select the repair option>startup repair. I am assuming the WIN7 will use a similar setup menu as VISTA.

After that, just format the partition/disk that ubuntu is on...
