    Loading multiple specific programs at once and having them align in a default way you want, how?As this website keeps going wrong i'm not writing it all again so i'll make it short.How to load multiple programs all at once without clicking on them all. How to have them then position themselves as I want without moving them all each time.Thanks.

    When I press the Windows key, is there any way of having the default display be all the programs alphabetically sorted?

    I can display that listing but I have to click on the 3rd icon on the left to do so. I would like to eliminate that step and always see the alphabetical list of programs and apps. I don't need to see the Start Programs as I almost never change this.

    Default programs are not working.

    I recently received and update for my Windows 7 system and an automatic update for my Windows 10 system. Since then, default programs have been changed. The programs that were the default programs are no longer in the default program list. (ie. Word,
    Excel, Access and a variety of other programs.)

    Clicking on Settings, Default Programs and Set Default Programs produces a list of 13 programs. There use to be and should be many more. Why screw with us like this with updates? PR is at an all time low.

    I can find no way to add them back into the default list. Therefore, I can not change the default program to my choice. It looks like Edge is used to display most everything. Google.doc also used at times. Both of these programs are of an inferior design
    and usability.

    Once again, it looks like Microsoft and Bill Gates have struck again. Does anybody have any solutions or suggestions to try?

    Lost default photo viewer after profile rebuild

    Thanks Brink. I've tried those steps before i started searching Google. After the profile rebuild i don't have the Photo app listed to choose to make it default in either the system settings for default apps or the Open With option.

    I can't even find it doing a search. Seems to have been removed somehow with the profile rebuild, which doesn't make sense.

    Might be helpful to list what i've done Loading multiple specific programs at once and having them align in a default way you want,... :) I've done the open with check, the choose default program in the system menu, tried that in device manager default programs also. I've checked the programs and features Turn windows features on/off and it's not listed there (never thought it was but that was a suggestion), searched the MS Store, it's not listed there either.

    I don't like playing in the registry unless i have defined steps and haven't found anything for this yet, just the Win7 version like in my OP.
