Windows 10: Loading System Repair disk results in Error Code 0xc000a004 - kernel is missing or contains...

I have recently migrated from windows 7 to windows 10 and have created a System Repair Disk. Running the system repair disk to verify it loads results in receipt of the following error message: "The operating system couldn't be loaded because the kernel is missing or contains errors. File: \windows\system32\ntoskrnl.exe Error code: 0xc000a004"Research on the web finds no specific response. The computer appears to be operating normally, just unable to load the repair disk minimizing key entry during the boot does not have any impact.Any assistance is appreciated.Darol

I recently bought a new 256gb SSD and installed a new windows 10 on my computer. But I am getting several errors like system file is missing, the operating system couldn't be loaded because the kernel is missing or contains errors, system_service_exception and a critical driver is missing, etc.

Tired of these errors since 3 months

Hi,

I am getting the error for windows 10 start up

Operating system couldn't be loaded because the kernel is missing or contains errors

Error Code: 0xc0000221

I don't have a recovery or restore point set.

I tried Hp PC hardware diagnostics uefi for storage and no errors

I tried to do factory reset. I get error that reset cannot be done.

All checks done with HP diagnostics. No luck.

I did search the forum Redirecting

But the above post did not help

 

NLS Data is missing or contains errors - Error code oxc0000102

Wife's Windows 10 PC will not boot. Was looping through Automatic repair. I disabled automatic repair using
bcdedit /set {default} recoveryenabled No from the command line in a recovery console to get a clearer look.

The next boot showed the following:

Your PC/Device needs to be repaired
The operating system couldn't be loaded because the NLS data is missing or contains errors
Error code oxc0000102

What is NLS data? Not sure how to repair this...

I ran some basic repair command from the recovery console but this issue persists. Any advise as to next steps would be appreciated.


Ran Bootsec /fixmbr /rebuildbcd successfully
Running Bootsec /fixboot returns "access denied"
sfc /scannow shows no errors
