Windows 10: LOADS of issues after Win10 update

I have two accounts on my laptop and normally use a school designated one without administrative privileges. The otheradmin account isn't used but is there just in case I need to log in and download/update/whatever.


After the latest series of Windows 10 updates Sept 2020, I noticed I "lost" my power settings the buttons that saysleep, hibernate, shut down, etc. and that my task manager also didn't have those options only option beinglock. In addition, I couldn't change my screen brightness. I logged out of my school account, did research and fixed those issues in myadmin account.


Now, when I want to switch back to my other account - it won't let me. It has essentially disappeared. I'm unable to switch when I'm within my adminaccount, and after I sign out, it's not listed on the usual password/lock screen page.


I've already uninstalled the earliest of the last few updates and it didn't help. This is driving me CRAZY. I would really, really like to have access to my other user account, seeing that's where all my files are located.

Win10: windows update stuck at never ending loop ?

When in win10:

• Update&security -> Windows update -> Finding update... .... .... ....

Planning to download the latest Win10.ISO (vers.1803) and manually update:
- Then wait that my ordered new SSD arrives and clone the old HDD to it.

Still can't reproduce. Could you please post the exact BIOSes that produce the issue?
