Windows 10: Local Adapter not supporting Low Energy controller

Event viewer repeatedly showing the following:The local adapter does not support low Energy controller state to support peripheral mode.The minimum required supported state mask is 0x2491ftfffff, got 0x1fffffff. low energy peripheral role functionality will not be available.Event 34, servicehost.exe_BthAuctpsvcI understand this is something to do with Bluetooth, which is running, but which I do not use.Should I be concerned?

Lumia 830 Bluetooth Low-Energy Support?

Oh oh. I bought a Lumia 830 because the specs says it supports Bluetooth 4.0 which I thought meant it support Bluetooth Low-Energy (aka "BLE" and "Smart Bluetooth").



But I'm trying to pair a heartrate monitor to it and I get a "couldn't connect" message after 30 seconds of it trying to pair.



Doesn't the 830 support BLE? If not, is there an update planned to add support? What is that update and when is it being released?

I found quite a few of these errors in the logs, it says the source is BTHUSB

Maybe you were correct about the power?

 

Xbox Controller is not connecting to Wireless Adapter

I appreciate your time and patience to work on this issue. To have a better clarity on the issue please reply to the following questions:

• Are you using an Xbox one controller?
  

If you are using an Xbox one controller, I suggest you to refer the steps in the article

How to connect an Xbox One Wireless Controller to a Windows PC and see if that helps in resolving the issue.



I would also suggest you to uninstall all the hidden devices under USB hive and check if you are able to connect the wireless adapter. Please follow the steps mentioned below to uninstall the hidden drivers:

1. Press and hold the Windows + X key on the keyboard.
   
2. Select Device manager.
   
3. Click View tab.
   
4. Select Show hidden devices.
   
5. Expand Universal Serial Bus and remove all the greyed out devices. To remove the greyed out devices, right click on the device and select
   uninstall.
   
6. Restart your computer.
