    Local admin vs admin

Hi,I'm currently am a "Local admin" on my PC. This is a PC I'm using at home and I would like to be administrator or, in others words, has full control of it. And I'm also posting this thread for a more important question. If I push "ctrl" + "e" or "r" and most likely all other shortcuts I'm getting this error message :Title : "Restrictions"Message : "This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact you system administrator"Any specific DISM command to do ? I tried some, but no luck.I really don't want to go through the process of reinstalling

    :)

    admin rights keep disappearing!?!!

    Hi guys,

I am actually having a problem at work that our IT department hasn't been able to figure out. I am supposed to be a member of the admin group. We are on a domain. The problem is that everytime I reboot the computer I loose my admin rights(no longer in the administrator group) and just become a normal user again. I have tried googling this and didn't get to many results.
I believe IT is just giving me local admin rights, not admin rights for the whole domain.

    Any suggestions?

EDIT: It is on Windows XP Pro.
