  1. local Administrator account won't go away even after being deactivated.

Hi, on My HP Specter 360 laptop, I've some how activated a "local administrator account" which I didn't mean to do that. so I went to command prompt as the administrator and deactivate that other "local administrator" account by using the command "net user administrator /active:no" which deactivate that other account. However, even though that other account has been deactivated, I'm still able to see it as option when I login. I click on it, It would say that : this account has deactivated.which is good however, I don't even want to see it as an option. I would just like my computer to go bac

  2. Local account to administrator

Just to be straight with terminology.

You can set up your device with a local account or Microsoft account.

Within each of these options you can then either be an Administrator or a Standard user.

If you go Start, Settings, Account and click on Your Info is it listing you as a local account and just below that are you Standard or Administrator.

  3. Windows 10 won´t start any program as Administrator

Hello. I´m having this issue since installed one of the latest Windows 10 system updates.

When I try to open any program that requires Administrator confirmation (that screen with the Yes/No question), this dialog won´t appear anymore. The screen background stays darkened and nothing happens.

    1. Using Windows 10 Home (x64)
    2. My microsoft user account is properly checked
    3. I´m the administrator of the PC
    4. Already tried do create another administrator user account - same problem, no success
    5. Cannot start any program/service that requires administrator authorization (not even regedit)
    Please help!
