Hey! So I got a notification earlier "Your pc is running out of space" even though it should be mostly empty. I did a scan with spacemonger and got some shocking images. Seems like there is some error on my pc that makes it believe that my appdata maps really old ones from 2018 and unused are huge. It will not let me delete or move the maps either stating "error" even with admin powers. As you can see on the screenshot the pc thinks it's 912GB while in reality it's 337mb large.

I went in to check my backup/restore points just to find out that I don't have any? And by that I mean, they are gone as I do at least every 6 months setup a new restore point. I wonder however if they have been deleted as space on the hdd ran out?

I'd love your advice on how to proceed, do I make a cloud backup? Run to the store and get an external hdd for backup or what should I do?

Look forward to hearing your thoughts and advice. PS. really important is that I work a lot from my browser window and therefore feel uncomfortable wiping my appdata without having a way to get it back to how it was. Is that even possible to create a clone of the machine down to the same memmory dump?

  4. Local APP Data corrupted. *With images*

images: for ppl that use lots of image apps

image app/site where you can it takes 2 images and auto-puts them side by side into 1 image

there was an image app a long time ago that does this, i've no idea what the name was tho
maybe there's something that is current & better

    minimal requiremetns

    1. should take a few steps (2 or so steps) just like that prevous app/site
    2. app/site needs to have a specfiic feature specifically for this
    3. should be free ofc for such a simple thing

since many ppl dont use many image apps, this may be a hard find
