Windows 10: local area network adapter not showing

Discus and support local area network adapter not showing in Windows 10 Network and Sharing to solve the problem; i have a broadband internet, i try to share the internet using a dongle, but the only way i can share internet is to share internet from the broadband...     i have a broadband internet, i try to share the internet using a dongle, but the only way i can share internet is to share internet from the broadband connection adapter using the local area network as my selected private network connection, but the local area network adapter isnt showing anymore, the first 2 times it

  2. Missing field Connect using in Local Area Connection Properties

    Have you tried uninstalling the Network Adapter? Since there is no properties in the Local Area Connection, we suggest that you uninstall the Network Adapter. Follow the steps below:

    • Press Windows Key + R.
    • Type devmgmt.msc.
    • Right click on the Network Adapter.
    • Select Uninstall.
    • Select Ok.
    • Select Scan for Hardware changes.
    Update us on the results.

  3. Local local area connection adapter is disabled

    Hi,

    Welcome and thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community. We welcome you to Windows 10 family.

    As per your description the issue seems to be with your network adapters. I would suggest you to follow the steps and check if it helps:

    • Open Device Manager by pressing Windows key + X, click on
      Control Panel; select System and Maintenance.
    • Click on Device Manager.
    • In Device Manager, locate Network Adapters and double-click to check if it’s working properly.
    • Go to Driver tab, then click on Update Driver. And follow the instructions.
    And whenever it is getting disabled, right click on the driver and click on
    Enable.
    If it doesn't helps, I would suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the driver and check if it's working properly.

    I uninstalled all network adapters, can't get Local Area Connection


    I uninstalled all network adapters trying to fix another issue but now my LAN network doesn't work,
    what is the best way to restore network adapters and previous local area connection ?
