Local Disk C and file explorer disappear in WINDOWS 10

so when i was about to install a software my PC suddenly went blue screen with error about memory management. after a reboot it went smooth but this is where the problem went to, file explorer was unable to work, windows warning said it doesn't exist so it deleted file explorer in taskbar and when i was about to open a program it didn't run and said that the folder location doesn't exist, that goes on every program installed in drive C. i run windows 10 with intel i7 7th generation and an 8GB RAM

    :)

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

  3. My local disk is missing from file explorer.

I installed windows 10 on my new laptop yesterday. At time i also created a partition of some 850 gb. After coplete installation of windows when i opened my file explorer it only showed 'local disk (CLocal Disk C and file explorer disappear in WINDOWS 10 :)' on which windows was installed . Then I open my
Disk manager and searched for the missing drive . It was listed down there but not on the file explorer. I tried formatting the missing drive but nothing happened. What should I do????

Local Disk C and file explorer disappear in WINDOWS 10

Is Windows (CLocal Disk C and file explorer disappear in WINDOWS 10 :) the same as Local Disk (CLocal Disk C and file explorer disappear in WINDOWS 10 :)?

Yes Windows C: is the same as Local Disk C:

When you open file explorer and click on the C drive you will see a Windows folder.

That is the folder that contains your Windows files and is normally installed on the C drive.

Let me know if you have any further questions.
