Windows 10: Local drive can't be located or read

Discus and support Local drive can't be located or read in Windows 10 Network and Sharing to solve the problem; My local d drive can't be opened despite its state is healthy and can't comprises it and it says i can't with out formating the file anf when i do that...   2. Recovering Local Disk

    Thank you for your quick response.

    It could be a compatibility issue with the latest update and your local disk. We suggest updating your disk driver. Follow these steps:

    • On the Start, type Device Manager.
    • Locate and select Disk drives.
    • Right-click on your disk drive, select Properties.
    • Go to the Driver tab and choose Update Driver.
    • Once done, click OK.

    hard drive full, but can<t find the item to erase

    Windows 10 has the option to change the storage location. We suggest that you change the storage location so you can still use your hard drive instead of using the SSD. Kindly follow the steps below on how to change the storage location:

    • On the Search bar, type in storage and select the top most result.
    • On the Storage screen, change the location of each options to your desired hard drive. The files will now be saved on the specific hard drive.

    Switch Back to Existing Local Account from Microsoft Account

    Hi,

    Thank you for posting your response in Microsoft Community.

    I understand your concern, and we in Community will try to help you in the best possible way we can.

    I suggest that you follow the steps below and check if you can log into your computer using the Local Account.

      • On the Search Bar type “User Account”.
      • On the right menu pane locate and click “Make changes to my account in this PC”.
      • Then locate and click on “Sign in With a Local Account instead”.
      • And follow on screen instructions.
