    Hello community,i have a strange behavior on some of my new windows machines.I setup co-managment Intune/SCCM to manage these PCs with WufB pilot group and this worked fine for me. But since the last days I have more and more PCs which do not longer get updates. I looked them up and found a local group policy pointing to my primary sccm server. The SCCM server has the WSUS Role installed but we never used it for Update distribution to clients. Also SCCM Client settings -> Software Updates is set to NO.Does anyone know how to find out where this unwanted local gpo is coming from?SCCM Serve

    SCCM Local Policy - BITS

    Managing BITS policy for clients can be done several ways - just a few listed here:

    1. Group Policy template
    2. Local Policy template
    3. registry
    4. and more...

    SCCM client settings for BITS uses local policy to enforce the BITS agent settings.

    Consider the following scenario:

    SCCM client settings contains BITS settings for max throttle, start and stop times, etc...

    SCCM Client settings also have the "Limit the maximum network bandwidth for BITS backgrounds transfers" set to "NO" so, effectively no settings that are configured are actually being enforced.

    This is working fine. Here's the issue:

    If I fun the following command:

    GPResult /scope computer /h file.htm

    ... the output file will show that this local setting is "enabled" and appears it is enforced.

    The setting is not enforced but the reporting mechanism thinks it is. I'm considering this a bug. This burned a customer and cost them several hours of troubleshooting where this setting was coming from because they swore that SCCM was not setting it.

    Windows 10 Settings and Local Group Policy Editor

    I was just curious to know if there is a way to easily locate all of the corresponding settings that are in the new Windows 10 Windows Settings app within the Local Group Policy Editor? The reason I ask is because I had recently discovered that several
    of the settings that I have changed in the Windows Settings app have not stuck. This has occurred on several Windows 10 Enterprise systems that I had configured at work. However, the only way that I was able to make the settings stick was to modify them
    in the Local Group Policy Editor instead. It took me some time to find the corresponding settings in the Local Group Policy Editor by searching on Google. That's why I would like to know if there is an easier way to find all of the corresponding settings
    in the new Windows Settings app in the Local Group Policy Editor.
