    'Local Security Authority Protection is off' How do I remedy this?


    I've had the above warning for a few days. When I follow the instructions there seems no way to turn it back on again? Everything else seems to be 'on' inc. 'Memory integrity' but maybe not 'Memory Access Protection' There is a general caution orange triangle by 'Core Isolation'. It seems to have only become apparent after a recent 'update'? Should I wait for another remedial update to arrive as it seems to be a common problem. I don't have the skill to try and fix it myself. It's not the first time I've had to 'turn things back on again' after they've turned themselves off! It's all very conf

    Local Security Authority protection Bug?

    Open an admin Command Prompt and run these two commands:

    • reg add "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa" /v "RunAsPPL" /t REG_DWORD /d 2 /f
    • reg add "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa" /v "RunAsPPLBoot" /t REG_DWORD /d 2 /f
    Restart Windows. That should clear the yellow exclamation warning.

    Here's the easy fix:

    Alternatively, open an admin Command Prompt and run these two commands:
