  1. Local Security Authority Protection toggle not showing up

I'm always on my windows security page when there's a recommended action, just to be sure my computer is in tip top shape. Today, I got a core isolation notification about LSA Protection. When I go in to check to fix it, it's not even there.I have been doing some research about it being on and the notification still showing up, but I want to be certain that everything is fine. If anyone knows why the toggle isn't appearing, i'd love to know why.

    :)

  2. Local Security Authority protection Bug?

Open an admin Command Prompt and run these two commands:

    • reg add "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa" /v "RunAsPPL" /t REG_DWORD /d 2 /f
    • reg add "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa" /v "RunAsPPLBoot" /t REG_DWORD /d 2 /f
Restart Windows. That should clear the yellow exclamation warning.
