Local Security Authority protection turned off - can't enable it.

Hi there,There is a warning symbol on my taskbar's Windows Security icon, and when I go into my security settings it says that my device's Local Security Authority protection is off, but it doesn't provide an option to enable it again. It seems this is a common problem, so I tried following the steps provided to enable it:Open the Registry Editor RegEdit.exe and navigate to the registry key that is located at: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa.Set the value of the registry key to:"RunAsPPL"=dword:00000001 to configure the feature with a UEFI variable."RunAsPPL"=dword:000

    :)

  2. Local Security Authority protection Bug?

Open an admin Command Prompt and run these two commands:

    • reg add "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa" /v "RunAsPPL" /t REG_DWORD /d 2 /f
    • reg add "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa" /v "RunAsPPLBoot" /t REG_DWORD /d 2 /f
Restart Windows. That should clear the yellow exclamation warning.
