  1. Local Security Policy settings for both Don't display last signed in AND Don't display...

    Hello:

I have Windows 10 Pro, version 1909. This issue has occurred for several Windows 10 Pro versions. According to the tab's details in Local Security Policy:

Interactive logon: Don't display last signed-in
This security setting determines whether the Windows sign-in screen will show the username of the last person who signed in on this PC.
If this policy is enabled, the username will not be shown.

    And

Interactive logon: Don't display username at sign-in
This security setting determines whether the username of the person signing in to this PC appears at Windows sign-in, after credentials are entered, and before the PC desktop is shown.
If this policy is enabled, the username will not be shown.

I have both settings as Enabled. When I start my system, I see both the user name and the user name for the last one logged in. Is there something that I am missing to not see this info during login?

    :)

Why don't taskbar icon display settings stick?: I think this has been happening as long as there have been taskbar icons (XP?). You set volume, network, battery, etc. to display, and they do.
