  1. Local Taskbar Overlapping Remote Desktop Taskbar

Hello Community,I'm encountering an issue when connecting to a remote server RDP using Citrix Receiver on my PC. The taskbar of my local PC overlaps with the taskbar of the Remote Desktop, making it difficult to access. This problem specifically occurs when my local display scale is set to 225%. At other display scales, such as 200% or 250%, the issue doesn't appear.I've already tried various troubleshooting methods, like restarting Windows Explorer and enabling auto-hide for the taskbar, but none have resolved the issue. How can I ensure that the taskbar of the Remote Desktop is always visib

  2. Show Local Taskbar in AVD/Remote Desktop Fullscreen

    Hey there, Yadder-Camacho,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

It seems like you're looking for a way to consistently access your local taskbar while using Remote Desktop in fullscreen mode. Here are a few suggestions to help you achieve that:

    1. Show local taskbar without minimizing Remote Desktop: You can try pressing the Ctrl + Alt + Home keys simultaneously. This should bring up the local taskbar without minimizing or restoring down the Remote Desktop session.
    2. Use a shortcut to open a specific app: If you often need to access a particular app, like Spotify, you can create a keyboard shortcut for it on your local machine. To do this, right-click the app's shortcut icon, select "Properties," and then click the "Shortcut" tab. In the "Shortcut key" field, define a unique key combination (e.g., Ctrl + Alt + S for Spotify). Apply the changes and close the Properties window. Now you can use this key combination to open the app even while using Remote Desktop in fullscreen mode.
    3. Set the local taskbar to "Always on top": You can configure your local taskbar to always be on top, even when using Remote Desktop in fullscreen mode. To do this, right-click an empty space on the taskbar, click "Taskbar settings," and turn on the "Always on top" option (if available in your Windows version). Note that this might not be a perfect solution, as it can overlap with the remote taskbar, but it can be a temporary workaround.
Remember that the behavior of the taskbar might vary depending on the Windows version you're using, both on your local machine and on the remote machine. You can experiment with these suggestions to find the solution that works best for you.

Unfortunately Azure Virtual Desktop is not supported on the Microsoft Answers forum. 3. Taskbar when in Remote Desktop mode

My local pc taskbar is showing when I go into remote desktop mode. It never used to be so I've obviously done something to keep it there but can't hide it now. I need the remote desktop taskbar to show.

  4. Local Taskbar Overlapping Remote Desktop Taskbar

    Remote desktop swap taskbar position

I've recently came across weird problem.

I have two Windows 10 Professional machines, one with 3 displays, one remote with single display.

If I connect to remote computer, I use single secondary screen for the Remote Desktop, so I have two displays with local screen and one display with remote screen and I work seamlessly between these screens.

Last time I've connected, both systems swapped position of taskbar. At home I have taskbar at top, remote computer has taskbar at right. After RD session, the taskbar home was on the right and taskbar on remote was on top.

Any thoughs ho to stop it?
