  1. local64spl.dll Malware??

I discovered hidden dll files called local64spl It also had local64spl.dll.ini files in every folder that was in the root of E:\.

defender flagged it as malware and and quarantined it and I made it delete it. The odd thing though is that it only detected those files WHEN I saw them, so that's odd.

another thing to note that there are hidden folders that also have "local64spl.dll.ini", the hidden folders mimic the names of regular folders but with a underscore Example: Normal folder's name: "Folder", the local64 hidden folder name: "Folder_ "

    contents of the ini file
    [Fast]

    FastType=4 or 44, or 2, or 22

The ini files that were in NORMAL folders had a number ex: 4 and the hidden folders mimicking their name had twice the number ex:44.

LMAO I JUST DELETED THE ENTIRE POST WHILE I WAS WRITING, THANK GOD FOR CTRL Z

    :)

  2. DLL Missing

The problem is, that the required DLL is not actually even listed there.
There are just dozens of download adware links from the top to the bottom.

  3. DLL Module TODGUB6.dll is misssing

    Hi Stefan,

Thank you for posting on Microsoft Community.

Sometimes scanning your PC for virus/malware infection once will not get detected. Scan your PC twice for detecting malware or virus attack by running the anti-virus software and check if the issue is resolved.

If the issue persist re-register the .dll files by following the steps below and check if you are facing similar issue.

Dynamic link library (DLL) is a collection of small programs, which can be called upon when needed by the executable program (EXE) that is running. When one of the DLL file is corrupted, then executable program
will fail to perform properly. So we need to re-register the DLL files.

    • Press Windows key + X and select Command Prompt(Admin).
    • At the command prompt, type the commands mentioned below and press
      Enter
      after each command-
    regsvr32 ntdll.dll /s

    regsvr32 msdxm.ocx /s

    regsvr32 dxmasf.dll /s

    regsvr32 wmp.dll /s

    regsvr32 wmpdxm.dll /s

    • After registering DLL files restart the computer and check if the changes are effective.

Write back to us with the status of the issue for further assistance. Your reply is important for us to ensure we assist you accordingly.

    Thank you.

    local64spl.dll Malware??

    DLL Missing

I actually posted the link for the "list of troubleshooting steps to resolve your boost_threads.dll problems" which is located half way down the page. I did not mean to promote any downloads.

Why don't I just go back and indicate that on my original post? That way there's access to the 'step-by-step' instructions, which are accessed via those green 'plus' signs next to the topics.

If the link still needs to be removed, then let me know
