  2. Access localhost from another computer

Localhost, as the name suggests, points at the localhost. Use the hostname or IP from your computer on their PC's. ie something in the 192.168.x.x or 10.0.0.x range most likely.

localhost itself is OK but adding any port fails

Which suggests you should specify correct port? I'm unable to connect the dots between your ISS server and flashback program, what does one have to do with the other?

localhost itself is OK but adding any port fails

My PC has a very run-of-the-mill windows 10 installation. I purchased the Flashback screen capture software and am trying to grant permission so that software can upload videos to my YouTube channel. Flashback has a menu choice for doing this. The last step in the process uses localhost with a port number. Each time I go through these steps the port number is different. These links start like so: http://127.0.0.1:54379/?state=... I have tried Firefox, Chrome and Edge. The result is the same. Localhost itself seems fine. If I browse to IIS Windows Server then I seen screenshot_1 (attached). But if I try the long link with the port number it fails and says “Unable to connect”. See screenshot_2 (attached) My ‘hosts’ file has one line: 127.0.0.1 localhost I have tried 1. Turning off my windows and router firewall 2. Setting an 'inbound' rule in my windows firewall to allow localhost on all ports 3. Clearing DNS cache 4. Logged into my google account and looked for a way to authorize Flashback from there. 5. Logged into my YouTube account and looked for a way to authorize Flashback from there. 6. I searched the forum here Any suggestion for what I should try next?
