  1. LocalServiceNoNetworkFirewall - Windows 10

    Hi,

Can someone explain what this process is and why it is taking around 20% of my CPU on start-up and when I open my browsers, stopping them from initially connecting to the web.

I run a 3rd party software for my firewall, anti-virus but I think appears to be part of windows.

    Thanks

    :)

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

LocalServiceNoNetworkFirewall Consumes Large Amount of CPU on a Regular Basis

For the last 3 weeks or so, the service LocalServiceNoNetworkFirewall has been consuming 40 to 50% of my cpu. If I restart the system multiple times, I am sometimes successful in lowering the amount of cpu being used by LocalServiceNoNetworkFirewall. I
am running Windows 10 version 1909 (OS Build 18363.752).
