Windows 10: Location is not available: access is denied

Discus and support Location is not available: access is denied in Windows 10 Network and Sharing to solve the problem; Hi, Switching back to PC from Mac.     Location is not available: access is denied


    Hi,


    Switching back to PC from Mac.


    I just got a new laptop and new window 10 installed. I have this error message not sure how I can fix it.


    c:\Users\xxxx\Documents\ My Music is not accessible

    c:\Users\xxxx\Documents\ My Videos is not accessible

    c:\Users\xxxx\Documents\My Pictures is not accessible


    I have already checked the permission under the security tab of each of the folder. They are all good.


    Yours suggestion is appreciated.

    Location is not available. Access is denied.

    I am using Surface Pro 4 and unable to load Outlook and Office 2007 because I am denied access. I keep getting the message:

    Q\: is not accessible. Access is denied.

    Can anyone suggest how to overcome this problem. Many thanks.

    Access denied - location is not available

    I am no longer able to access MY DOCUMENTS or DOCUMENTS folder. I GET ERROR MESSAGE: access denied - location is not available. I notice the folder address uses different name than my user name. Does that make a difference? What do I need to do to get
    access to my files?
